Exploration

Drawing in my sketchbook and maintaining a sense of creative play are central in my practice. As a mother of three I have maintained my love of art making by adapting to the limited windows of time and energy available. I keep sketchbooks, craft and fine arts materials close at hand in my bag, car or living room so that my creative time is not limited to my studio space. I enjoy urban sketching, life drawing, free range fiber arts and using automatic drawing techniques to meditate. I embrace curiosity in all its forms which allows me to follow my interests and focus my attention on any media or subject that holds my attention.
